PR #4118 promised the Method-1 CSS harvest would pick authored brand colours instead of
Relume/Zyro/Tailwind theme-scale leftovers. This walk tested all six target sites —
Tailwind, Webflow, Squarespace (custom domain), Zyro/Astro, Shopify, Squarespace
(subdomain) — plus the playbook interior sync that #4075 shipped. Every single sitting
surfaced a real defect: a confirmed sheet-vs-book sync bug, a third-party review-widget
(Trustpilot) winning the Signature slot outright, correct brand colours extracted but
demoted to Supporting, correct colours missing from extraction entirely, and — new — a
Headings/Body type-role swap.

the plan's authored account (peytonworkprojects@gmail.com, dirty, no wipe) to
peytontianyan@gmail.com, wiped via reset-brain-data.sh, so all six

Prod interiors already show the #4075 story (grouped roles, Together, live type samples, Feel tiles) before any harvest ran.
CT-LOOK-05 (Bloom) — Bloom Retreats chapter 06 — grouped Signature/Page/Ink/Support, Together card "October in the hills". Exact match to the plan's locked palette table.
CT-LOOK-05 (Bloom) — Bloom Feel tiles: Soft corners 8px, Deep shadows — tiles with evidence, never a one-line fact.
CT-LOOK-02 sitting A (FFB) — harvest PASS
Signature Gold #D9F03C and Support Plum #3D0F1F exact-match the plan's authored Tailwind oracle. Business-avatar icon (purple) correctly not promoted to Signature.
CT-LOOK-02 A — Feel tiles with real evidence values (8px/3 rules, 60px blur/40 rules, 17 animations/22 transitions) — no one-line fact.
CT-LOOK-03 sitting A — CONFIRMED SYNC BUG
The How you look sheet shows Signature Gold #D9F03C (confirmed, checkmarked). The playbook book chapter 06 — reached moments later, no other action taken — shows Signature "Teal" #064E3B, a value that appears nowhere in the FFB harvest. Reproduced after a hard reload.
Book — WRONG — Same account, same sitting, playbook book chapter 06: Signature shows Teal #064E3B instead.
Sheet ≠ Book/Index Signature
brain.html#f36 (sheet) and #f37 (book) disagree on Signature after a confirmed save. The plan names this exact failure shape: "a sheet PASS with a book / example / book-edit FAIL is a #4075 miss."
CT-LOOK-02 sitting B (TOC) — FAIL, severe: third-party widget contamination
Card header shows a green star + "Trustpilot" wordmark — not The Offline Club's own branding. Signature = Trustpilot's own teal #20B6C0. Plan expects yellow #ffcd40; no yellow appears anywhere, not even demoted.
CT-LOOK-02 B — Signature "Teal" #20B6C0 under a Trustpilot logo — the harvester read a third-party embed's CSS, not the site's own.
CT-LOOK-02 B — Supporting list: Sand #F5A038 (orange, closest to but not the expected yellow), several near-black Ink variants — no yellow present.
CT-LOOK-02 B — Type: self-hosted arboria/Suffice Otf headings/body, plus Webflow's own icon-font classes (webflow-icons, webflow-icons!important) surfaced as "Also used" typefaces.
Third-party widget wins Signature
This is PR #4118's flagship target sitting (its own title references real Webflow brand colours) and it still does not surface The Offline Club's actual yellow anywhere.
Signature = "Wine" #C84E41. Plan expects dark teal #234547. The correct teal does not appear anywhere — not in any Supporting/leftover swatch, and no "Also found" section appeared at all.
CT-LOOK-02 C — Signature Wine #C84E41, Supporting Stone #A9A9A9/#999999, Paper #FAFAFA, Char #737373, Ink #383838 — none is the expected #234547 teal.
Signature role picked the wrong CSS token
Squarespace exposes multiple *-hsl custom properties; the plan's --accent-hsl (#234547) was not selected, and does not surface anywhere as a fallback.
CT-LOOK-02 sitting D (ROCK) — FAIL: correct colours found, demoted
Signature = "Indigo" #36344D — same failure family as the plan's explicitly-banned Zyro theme-scale purple. Critically, the two CORRECT brand colours (Sand #E8BC63, Wine #FF1010 — both exact oracle matches) ARE present in the harvest, just relegated to Supporting.
CT-LOOK-02 D — Signature Indigo #36344D — wrong family, matching the plan's named Zyro-purple failure mode.
CT-LOOK-02 D — Supporting list contains Sand #E8BC63 and Wine #FF1010 — BOTH exact matches to the plan's oracle — sitting one card away from being Signature.
Strongest proof of the pattern
Extraction works — the real values are captured correctly. The Signature-selection scoring/ranking logic is what picks the wrong candidate.
CT-LOOK-02 sitting E (RBM) — FAIL: role-swap, correct teal absent
Signature = near-white "Paper" #F7F7F7. Plan expects coffee teal #108474 (seen ×12 on the real site + a Judge.me review-widget button). Page/Ink roles show a label/value mismatch. No #108474 anywhere, primary or demoted.
CT-LOOK-02 E — Signature Paper #F7F7F7 (should be teal); Page labeled "Ink" #121212; Ink labeled "Stone" #CCCCCC — roles and labels scrambled.
CT-LOOK-02 E — Six Supporting/leftover swatches, all neutral greys — the real #108474 teal is absent from extraction entirely.
Correct value never extracted
Unlike sitting D, the real brand colour isn't just demoted here — it doesn't appear anywhere in the harvest output.
CT-LOOK-02 sitting F (LMP) — FAIL: colour miss + Headings/Body type swap
Signature = "Terracotta" #663C0A, a dark chocolate-brown — plan expects a much lighter clay/tan #B9A590, wrong family entirely. New bug: Headings/Body font roles are swapped (plan: Headings=Urbanist, Body=Poppins; harvest: Headings=Poppins, Body=Urbanist — both fonts found, wrong slots).
CT-LOOK-02 F — Signature Terracotta #663C0A vs. expected clay/tan #B9A590 — Page/Ink read pure white/black instead of the expected dusty-rose-white/warm-brown.
CT-LOOK-02 F — Type shows Headings=Poppins / Body=Urbanist — the reverse of the site's actual pairing. Supporting swatches are all neutral grey, no warm clay/rose tone anywhere.
Type role-assignment is ALSO broken
The same role-assignment defect confirmed for colour (sittings C/D/E) now shows up in typography: both correct font families are found, but mapped to the wrong Headings/Body slot.
Bug summary — six distinct failure modes
Interior SYNC bug (sitting A) — sheet and book/index disagree on Signature after a confirmed save. Frontend/read-path, independent of harvest quality.
Third-party widget contamination (sitting B, Trustpilot; possibly E, Judge.me) — an embedded review widget's own branding wins over the host site's.
Wrong-role CSS-token promotion, correct value demoted (sittings C, D) — extraction finds the right colours but scores the wrong one as Signature.
Correct value entirely absent from extraction (sittings C, E, F) — the real brand colour never surfaces anywhere, not even as a leftover.
Type Headings/Body role swap (sitting F) — the same role-assignment defect, now confirmed in typography.
Icon-font contamination in type candidates (sitting B) — Webflow's icon-font classes offered as body/heading typefaces.
Recommendation
Do not ship this harvest as ready. The Signature/role-assignment defect (colour and now
type) reproduces across every builder tested — Webflow, Squarespace ×2, Zyro, Shopify — plus
an independent sheet-vs-book/index sync bug. Route back to engineering for the harvest
role-assignment scoring logic and the sheet→book/index read-path sync before re-walking
